Vi Hausia is a Senior Asset Management Engineer at Auckland System Management (ASM), a joint venture responsible for maintaining and operating Auckland’s state highway network. He supports the strategic management of stormwater infrastructure, focusing on lifecycle asset planning, renewals optimisation, resilience, and environmental compliance.
In addition to his engineering role, Vi currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board within Auckland Council. His governance experience brings a strong community perspective to infrastructure planning, helping to ensure that investment decisions reflect local needs and deliver meaningful benefits.
With a background in civil and environmental engineering, Vi is passionate about bridging the gap between technical delivery and community outcomes.
