Michael has over 20years experience in both New Zealand and Australia, and has worked across design, project feasibility, design, project / contract management, asset management, and traffic engineering. Since early 2020 he has worked for NZTA in maintenance and operations team, most recently as a lead adviser.
For the last 2 years one of the key projects he has advised on is working with NZTA’s maintenance contractors to pilot and embed the New Zealand Guild to Temporary Traffic Management, this has culminated with the setup of the RCA Temporary Traffic Management Centre (RTTMC). The RTTMC has been set up to aid in bringing the RCA functions of traffic management back in house and centralising the unit as a proof of concept.
Michael is currently the owner interface manager for the RTTMC.
