Damian Volker is Director of Pavement Rehabilitation at Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads. With over 20 years of experience, Damian leads the delivery of innovative, sustainable, and resilient pavement solutions. He is nationally recognised for his expertise in foamed bitumen stabilisation and has contributed to major infrastructure projects, technical standards, and research initiatives. Damian’s leadership has shaped TMR’s approach to rehabilitation design, capability building, and stakeholder engagement. His achievements include leading Austroads foamed bitumen updates for guidelines and responding to disruptive natural disaster events. Damian is committed to advancing road network resilience across Queensland.
