Chris Perks is Tonkin & Taylor’s (T+T) Sector Director for Transportation and Delivery Partners where he leads T+T's Transport Sector in terms of opportunity pursuits, contractor and consultant partnering, strategy, growth and financial performance.
Chris is an experienced design and project manager for multi-disciplinary, multi-consultancy infrastructure projects within NZ and internationally. Projects include design of the Central Queensland Transport Network Reconstruction Programme, the NZTA Puhoi to Wellsford RoNS, the option selection process for the Brisbane Gateway Motorway Upgrade Northern section and the infrastructure design of the £1 billion Al Wasl development in Saudi Arabia.
Chris has highly developed political/strategic awareness and management skills and maintains a focus on his clients’ overall requirements. Chris has exceptionally well-developed commercial acumen and understanding, coupled with a strong financial skill set. Chris has experience of implementing “new to country” project procurement models through his extensive experience working in both the public and private sectors in NZ, Australia, Middle East and the UK. This has resulted in a very well-rounded knowledge of their specialised requirements and aspirations.
