Following an academic education in Civil Engineering, Johannes was fortunate enough to spend many years in the Road Construction industry in South Africa and New Zealand before joining Local Government in 2019. In 2022 he moved into the Executive leadership role as the Infrastructure Services Manager where he is responsible for Roading, Three Waters and Waste Management.
Johannes is embracing the various challenges posed by the current economy and environment and the continuous need for service delivery. At the heart of Johannes's approach lies a steadfast commitment to building future resilience through strategic planning, all while ensuring the delivery of cost-effective value for money solutions without compromising on the quality.
