Laura is the Project Manager responsible for bringing the team and inputs together to deliver the new Maintenance Contracts for Whangarei District Council to market in a condensed timeframe.
Laura is a Chartered Engineer with 20 years industry experience and has worked across a wonderfully diverse range of Civil Engineering projects in that time, with primary focus within the Transportation sector.
She is passionate about the efficient and effective delivery of projects, and has had the opportunity to be responsible for delivering work through all project development phases, from funding through to MSQA, acting in both consultant and client capacities.
In her old age (!) she notes that the work Engineers do cannot be disassociated from overall public good and the wellbeing of society, so seeks to gently encourage a view to long term and wider positive outcomes in the work she does.
As part of this she acts as a volunteer assessor for Engineers seeking Chartership when time allows.
