MIMICO has been equipping the success of New Zealand operations since 1989. The company sells, hires, and services heavy machinery for the quarrying, mining, contracting, construction, recycling, and forestry industries.

MIMICO is the New Zealand distributor of a suite of world class brands, including Metso Outotec crushing and screening equipment, Dynapac compaction and paving equipment and hydraulic excavators. MIMICO also distributes Moxy Articulated Dump Trucks, Epiroc rock breakers and demolition equipment, Superior conveyors and wash systems, MDS trommels and apron feeders, IMS mobile equipment, ZF transmission and drive components for construction equipment, Cesco concrete mixer bowls, and manufactures Lamella portable wastewater treatment plants.

MIMICO operates a modern heavy machinery workshop, parts store, adjoining offices and training facilities in Matamata. Sales and service branches are also located in Auckland and Christchurch, a distribution centre in Paraparaumu, as well as service providers across the country.

For over 30 years MIMICO Engineering has delivered project plant to maximise customers’ returns, covering the full spectrum from design, fabrication, installation, and project management to ensure delivery that meets the highest of expectations.

Crane Sales New Zealand Limited, MIMICO’s sister company, is the sole New Zealand agent for HMF knuckle boom and marine cranes, UNIC mini crawlers and truck cranes, Maxilift truck cranes, BG Lift crawler cranes, and Tommy Gate hydraulic liftgates.
